Information on support groups and other mental health organizations can also be provided. This service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST. At other times, callers may leave a name and number, with a description of the type of information requested and a staff member will contact them. NARSAD does not give out medical advice. If urgent care is needed, please refer to a mental health professional or call 911. The NARSAD Infoline was developed to provide educational materials and to answer many frequently asked questions. It is not staffed by medically degreed individuals but by master's level staff members familiar with psychiatric diseases. » Educational Materials
