Study criteria (i.e., age or gender requirements):
-An individual diagnosed with Bipolar I or II disorder between 25 and 65 years of age.
-A sibling (to be contacted by his or her Bipolar sibling) between the ages of 25-65 years of age, who is also interested in participating in the study.

Exclusion criteria:
-No history of head trauma, known neurological disorder, or learning disability.
-No Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) within the past three months.
-No very heavy drug or alcohol use.

Brief description of study:
If you have a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder and are at least 25 years of age, you may be eligible to participate in a research study involving tests of concentration, memory, and thinking. The study will last approximately 4 hours and will involve interviews as well as pencil/paper and computerized tests. Qualified participants will receive $100. This is not a treatment study.
