Study criteria (i.e., age or gender requirements):
Participants must have a diagnosis of Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder. They must be between the ages of 13 and 55. They need to be able to obtain transportation to University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.

Exclusion criteria:
People with non-removable metal objects in their body (pacemakers, metal plates, braces, ect.) People who are currently abusing drugs or alcohol. People who do not have normal hearing.

Brief description of study:
We are studying the difference in response to sound between people with Schizophrenia and people with no history of mental illness. We use Magnetoencephalograpy (MEG) and Magnetic Resonance Imagine (MRI) (both non-invasive procedures) to obtain structural and functional images of the brain. The study can be completed in one to two days or spread out across several days.
