13th Annual Staglin Family Vineyard Music Festival
for Mental Health
Rutherford, Calif. (Napa Valley)

This day-long festival of fine food and wines from the Napa Valley featured as its musical guest the legendary R&B singer Gladys Knight – a seven-time Grammy winner – and her 22-piece band. Dr. Shitij Kapur, MD, PhD (NARSAD Independent Investigator, 2002) of the University of Toronto began the festival with a lecture and discussion focusing on issues relating to psychiatric brain disorders. The VIP post-concert dinner featured celebrated chef Rick Moonen of RM Seafood in Las Vegas.

With 100 percent of the event’s expenses underwritten by its sponsors, all proceeds go directly to support scientific research and treatment programs relating to brain and behavior disorders.
