• Young Investigator Award: This award supports scientists at the advanced post-doctoral or assistant professor (or equivalent) level. Awards are up to $30,000/year, for one or two years (maximum of $60,000). How to Apply: The deadline for the 2009 Young Investigator Award has passed. Electronic applications for the 2010 Young Investigator award will be accepted in June 2009, with a July 25, 2009 deadline. View the 2009 Young Investigator Award Guidelines • Independent Investigator Award: This award supports scientists at the associate professor (or equivalent) level. Awards are up to $50,000/year, for two years (maximum of $100,000). How to Apply: The deadline for the 2008 Independent Investigator Award has passed. Electronic applications for the 2009 Independent Investigator Award will be accepted in February, 2009, with a March 5, 2009, deadline.
