David Bucci is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. He is a member of the Society for Neurosciece, Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience, and Pavlovian Society. Dr. Bucci's teaches courses on Research Methods and Ethics in Psychology as well as various courses in neuroscience. His research is focused on the neurobiological basis of attention, learning, and memory. Of particular interest are the neural mechanisms that are at the interface between attention and learning. One goal of this research is to further our understanding of the basic mechanisms of information processing in the brain. A second goal is to relate these findings to the biological basis of cognitive dysfunction and mental illness in humans.
