Brandon A. Gaudiano, Ph.D.
Young Investigator
Brandon Gaudiano, Ph.D. graduated from Drexel University in 2004 with a doctorate in clinical psychology. He completed an NIMH-funded T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in treatment research at Brown University in 2006 under the mentorship of Ivan Miller, Ph.D. Currently, Dr. Gaudiano is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (Research) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is Research Psychologist at Butler Hospital’s Psychosocial Research Program in Providence, Rhode Island. In 2005, he became a recipient of an NIH Loan Repayment Award. Most recently, he was awarded a K23 Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development grant from the NIMH to develop a treatment for psychotic major depression. Dr. Gaudiano’s NARSAD award will support his research efforts to develop a treatment adherence program for patients with bipolar disorder and drug/alcohol use problems.
