NARSAD STAGLIN AWARD FACT SHEET
» Award Initiation
To begin the NARSAD Staglin Award, it is necessary to submit the following items:
  • Signed Terms of Award
  • Payment Information Form
  • IRB Approval and/or Animal Protocol Approval
    (or a statement in writing if no approval is required)
  • Signed Grantee Publicity Statement

*It is the responsibility of the investigator to keep IRB/animal protocol approvals up to date. If an approval lapses, the NARSAD award will be placed on hold until the updated approval is received.

  • A one paragraph website biography, to include:
    • academic history--undergraduate and doctoral-level medical degree
    • current position/title
    • any awards or honors received
    • one to two sentences regarding current research interests, as reflected by your current NARSAD award
  • A photograph to be included on the NARSAD website
    (.jpg file is preferred)
» Interim Progress Reports
Progress reports are due once a year in September (by no later than August 15), with 2nd and 3rd payments contingent on their receipt.
Interim progress reports should include:
  • Summary of the NARSAD award progress to date
  • Any resulting publications (please forward copy-Adobe Acrobat format is preferred)
  • Any subsequent awards
  • Relevance of project to the NARSAD mission

Additional Significant Progress/Achievements
(Submit via e-mail to grants@narsad.org)

It is requested that NARSAD researchers report immediately any new developments in research projects or individual careers, resulting publications, or if note-worthy awards or recognition are received.
» Final Report
(Submit via e-mail to grants@narsad.org)

A final report is due three months after the grant is completed. A final report reminder will be sent, which will include detailed instructions for completion of the report.

» No-Cost Extensions
(Submit via e-mail to grants@narsad.org)

Please e-mail all no-cost extension requests at least one-month prior to the project end date and include the length of additional time requested (6-months or 1-year).
