Kate D. Fitzgerald, M.D. (Young Investigator 2007) of the University of Michigan Medical Center, plans to study the obsessive-compulsive disorder in pediatrics and the related neuroantonmical abnormalities. Specifically, Dr. Fitzgerald will use a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) study using the Multisource Interference Task (MSIT) to test for abnormalities of inhibitory and/or error processing in the brains of youth with OCD.
