 Project Summary  Seth D. Norrholm, Ph.D., (Young Investigator 2008) of Emory University School of Medicine, will further investigate conditioned fear extinction and generalization in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and major depression. The results of this study may lead to more improved treatment strategies for treating PTSD patients with and without co-morbid mood disorders, and improve therapeutic approaches for extinguishing fear.
